Transition?

Like global economy, the mining industry appears to be going through a volatile phase. Fluctuating commodity market as well as mine closures, slow downs send contradictory signals for the professional and the investor. And this is the time of clean ups and review of the industry and the talk of stinulus plans underline the urgency. The mining industry is by nature has a long gestation period since the mineral deposit is planned for the life and uncertainity does not auger well even if the stagnation is temporary.
